Social

CLTC is a very friendly and sociable club. With our super Social (and super-sociable) Secretaries, Julie Wych and Sue Macdonald, there's sure to be some exciting events in the near future.

Summer Socials

For starters there are the regular Summer Social Tennis sessions. These are open mixed doubles sessions held every week; see the Calendar for more details. Just turn up and mingle around the clubhouse and you will find other like-minded players looking for a friendly game. It doesn't matter what standard you are - you will always find a game to suit (unless you're Roger Federer!). As added incentives, the bar is open and on the first Thursday of each month we serve BLT sandwiches at a very reasonable price.

Social Coaching

Don't forget that the club runs a number of relaxed and social coaching sessions - for example Ladies' Morning and Cardio Tennis. These are always fun and a great way to meet other members. There is always time of a cup of tea and a biscuit afterwards! See the Coaching pages for more information.

Social Events

Of course, not all events include tennis; recent events have also included a Casino Night, Pub Night, Quiz Night, Summer BBQ, Salsa dancing, Murder Mystery evening and charity auction of promises.

There will be events planned all through the year, the highlights being the End of Season Social and the Christmas Special. We try to arrange a variety of themes so that there is something for everyone to look forward to and enjoy. If you have any ideas for social events then please let us know.
